Hi, My one year old son has recently become very fussy. First up, he loves feeding himself, so he will very happily eat tonnes of grapes and sliced peach or his favourite, Banana! So he gets plenty of fruit in. I have noticed at other meal times he is frequently turning up his nose to every other item I am offering. He FLAT OUT refuses meat, maybe the colour of it but he just spits it out and chucks it straight on the floor. Maybe if I am lucky I can sneak in some vegies if I am quick. The reason I am a bit worried is he pretty much only eats a few bites of things during the day, whether it be toast or a sandwich, but eats a lot of fruit and as you can imagine it is affecting his poo's a bit. What ideas for snacks do you guys have, other than fruit? Have your kids gone thru similar stages?
